And just like that, Halloween is over! Who else is completely floored that the end of the year is quickly approaching? Time needs to seriously slow down!
I’ve been working hard over the past few months on a whole bunch of new work for a couple of licensing shows coming up in the new year. It’s always funny that when I feel like I’m chugging along and creating SO much new work I also completely forget to share it on social media and post it for sale! I always get around to getting it on my website, but I wish everything could be up there ASAP.
My new Black Forest Retreat collection is one of those groups of work. These designs were inspired by a trip I took to the Black Forest in Germany last year. There was something simple, yet hauntingly beautiful, about the landscape. While there, I also may have gotten super lost on a seven-hour hike. That’s a story for a different day! Getting lost on that hike actually led me through a few small towns that provided a bit more inspiration for this work. Life always has a funny way of working out like that!
Honestly, I was going back and forth trying to figure out what to offer for my November freebie. I figured I’d do something related to Thanksgiving. But at the same time, I was beyond ready to share this new work. This new collection features so many different kinds of pieces, including tree ring drawings, evergreen triptychs and even more abstract forest scenes. I took a pretty evergreen pattern that I used in the collection and turned it into a wallpaper download for you all to enjoy. Check out my entire Black Forest Retreat collection here!
And if you are looking for a Thanksgiving related freebie be sure to check out the one I offered last year.
