New Collection AND September Freebie: A Rustic Harvest Welcomes Autumn

Hello, September! While I’m a firm believer that summer is truly endless, it’s crazy that the actual season just quickly breezed by us all and now September has arrived. Don’t get me wrong – I love autumn just as much as the next girl. There’s something SO nice about the warm days and cooler nights that come with September. It’s like you can feel the crisp air coming your way! And we still technically have a few weeks of summer left, right?

This summer was super busy for me with a move, a bunch of travel and trying to get back on track with churning out new artwork. I released one of my favorite new collections, Nantucket Winds, in August. After that, I knew it was time to look forward and think about the next collection I wanted to release. Immediately, I knew which one would be perfect for September!

I actually created this new collection, A Rustic Harvest, last November as part of my prep for a big licensing show. I don’t normally get to create artwork during the season it was intended to be used in (like painting Christmas trees in June!), so this was an exciting change for me. When I originally created the work I wasn’t totally positive that I would end up using it when the fall season rolled around again. But something about it still spoke to me and I knew I needed to share these designs.

A Rustic Harvest features plenty of pretty watercolors of sunflowers, pumpkins, gourds and more. I am really in love with the sunflower patterns. They are such a great way to subtly welcome fall into your home without going full-on pumpkin spice immediately. That’s why I pulled one of my watercolor sunflower patterns, with a pretty purple watercolor background, to make my September freebie. I hope that this download brings plenty of joy and light to your devices this month!
